Amy Winehouse tribute: As we still mourn the passing of one of this generation's greatest voices gone too soon, it was great to see MTV honor the fallen star. A moving tribute to the songstress was given by friends like Russell Brand, the legendary Tony Bennett and a fitting performance from Bruno Mars - we love you Amy!

Pitbull and Ne-Yo: Hey, who doesn't love a good fist pumping performance every once and awhile? You gotta’ give it to Pitbull, he has had one heck of a year. Talk about finding your niche! Guess we can say that he did a “slip and slide” all the way to the top of the charts! (Yes, pun intended!)

Bevis and Butthead return: Ok, so this may not be a part of the show per say, but if you grew up in the 90's you can't deny Bevis and Butthead. Who can forget the classic line "I need TP for my bunghole!". We all do Bevis, we all do.
