Meeshy Approved: VH1's 100 Greatest Songs of 00's

Ok, so VH1 aired their top 100 songs of the 00’s this past weekend. I think for the MOST part they were pretty on point with this list.

Check out the top ten below:

1. Beyoncé (Feat. Jay-Z) – "Crazy In Love"
2. OutKast – "Hey Ya!"
3. Lady Gaga – "Poker Face"
4. Eminem – "Lose Yourself"
5. Kelly Clarkson – "Since U Been Gone"
6. Kanye West (Feat. Jamie Foxx) – "Gold Digger"
7. Justin Timberlake (Feat Timbaland) – "SexyBack"
8. Jay-Z (Feat. Alicia Keys) – "Empire State Of Mind"
9. Mariah Carey – "We Belong Together"
10. 50 Cent – "In Da Club"

Beyonce was #1 with her smash “Crazy In Love” ft. Jay-Z. I can’t think of a song that was more influential in an artist's career over the past 10 years as this song was for her.

Now I say for the MOST part because side eyes definitely go to Kanye West ft. Jamie Foxx, “Golddigger” landing at #6 and Jay-Z ft. Alicia Keys “Empire State of Mind” at #8. Now, not to say that these songs should not have been on the countdown; however, I think there were other songs that could have made the top ten before these two songs – but that’s my opinion.

We have listed the top ten but if you want to see the list in its entirety click on the link below. Tell us what you think. Did VH1 get it right or did they leave out some definite hits?
